Children´s Right in Africa

I found an organisation from South Africa. Its CWSA Child Welfare South Africa.
CWSA is an umbrella body that represents 169 affiliates and branches and developing children organisations.One of the largest non-govermental and non-provit organisation in South africa.
Mainpoint is nonprofitsector connectet with the well being of children. CWSA is also supported of organisations and individuals who love to help child welfare and companies. Cwsa is supported for many years from institution and companies of course also hopeful for new Donors. (Their work and help still very important.)There, they have the South Afrika National Council for child and families.
South Africa is since 10 ayears a free and democratic country and the situation for children is still serious.
CWSA has different tasks.
-It is reasonable for the developement of children´s rihgt.
-the relevance of national policy to protect life for children.
-Support communities to help them with their needs through the developing process.
-Fund and Fundraising, opportunity, promote children welfare.

The understandig of children welfare from CWSA includes as follow:
-Confirm its belief in the dignity, diversity, equality and worth of all people
-Developing services which is relevant to the basic children needs.
-not align itself with any particular ethnic group,political party or ideology.
-To be committed to creating public awareness of children needs and rights and society responsibility.
-To be transparent to ist constituency and public for its decisions and actions.

This I think is a very important point, the institution have to be transparent for its decision and actions.This point we miss in Germany and perhaps in USA some actions are also not so transparent. We know what they intend to do, but we usually not know what they really do.In USA many of organsiations with a lot of offers for families and single women with their children for all situations, but the actions with child extraction is still a problem because often not public but often without knowing for parents.
The children´s basic needs and rights according the Bill of rights in South Africa I write in the next blog.
